Thane Doctors Foundation is a registered association (E-14360/26) of practising doctors who came together with one shared belief — that good health is a right, not a privilege.

Thane's rapid growth has outpaced access to affordable, trustworthy healthcare for many of its families. A group of doctors across specialities — general physicians, surgeons, paediatricians and more — decided that the city's own medical community should step in directly.
What began as informal collaboration between colleagues became a formally registered foundation, with an elected body of office bearers, dedicated committees, and advisory boards covering medico-legal, financial and ethical oversight — built to last, and built to serve.
Meet the Leadership →To make quality, compassionate healthcare reachable for every resident of Thane — regardless of their ability to pay — through camps, awareness and direct support.
A Thane where no family delays treatment for want of access or affordability, and where the medical community is a visible, trusted pillar of everyday life.
Service above self, transparency in governance, empathy in every interaction, and collaboration across specialities and generations of doctors.
Doctors across Thane's clinics and hospitals begin informally coordinating health camps and referrals, realising the value of a shared platform.
Thane Doctors Foundation is formally registered, with a founding charter centred on health, care and community.
A full governing body is elected — President, Secretary, Treasurer, and a network of committees spanning scientific affairs, media, ladies wing, culture, sports and advisory boards.
Regular medical camps, awareness programmes and direct patient assistance continue to expand across Thane's neighbourhoods.
Doctors, healthcare workers and community volunteers are always welcome to join our initiatives.
